Stokes of Cambridge Insurance Services Ltd was founded by Rod Stokes in February 1989 looking after Westminster Insurance taxi policies from his home office in Cambridge, moving to Cherry Hinton High Street and joined by his daughter Nicola Phillips in 2006, then her daughter Robyn Phillips in 2013.  At the end of 2015 we moved to a bright new office in Newmarket.  Since becoming part of Clegg Gifford brokers in 2015, we have expanded and can now offer cover for motor trade, commercial vehicles, cafes, shops, salons, offices, office liability, professional indemnity to name but a few.


Rod retired in 2020 but Nicola and Robyn continue the family business that prides itself in an honest, hands-on approach to our customers with friendly service at the heart of our values.  Our knowledge and experience, combined with our customer service focus means we know the importance of keeping the client working when a problem arises.  Our efficient administration and communication with our clients is the strength of the Company.
